Bedford + Bowery, the new blog covering Williamsburg to the East Village, is hosting their first bazaar on Saturday, August 31. They'll be bringing North Brooklyn restaurants, shops, artists and artisans to the Lower East Side, where they’ll team up with some of Hester Street Fair’s most popular vendors.
L&W Oyster Co, a new school/old school oyster bar and restaurant will launch weekend brunch on Saturday, August 31. Chef-owner Jason Weiner and his chef de cuisine, David Belknap, will unveil a menu of playful brunch classics. In addition to a full raw bar and complimentary cornbread service with chipotle-honey butter, a highlights include Housemade Biscuits and Shrimp Gravy, Angry Crab Benedict and Lobster Deviled Eggs.
Starting at 6 pm on Sunday, September 1st, Sons of Essex will host a Berkshire Pig Roast so you can feast and drink in excess without worrying about going to work the next day! Get a plate of slow-cooked pork, Southern-inspired sides and a local draft beer for just $30. There will also be seasonal desserts, like Peach Cobbler, as well as the option to order off the a la carte dinner menu.
Williamsburg’s “premiere” oyster bar and cocktail lounge, Maison Premiere, is throwing its annual Labor Day party Monday, September 2nd from noon-midnight.
