When you’re searching for the perfect venue to
celebrate a special moment in New York City, look no further than the beautiful
Waldorf Astoria. In their grand Peacock Alley, the hotel offers their famed
Sunday Brunch.
This feted event features a raw bar with caviar,
clams, oysters, lobster and shrimp, and smoked fish and meat carving stations.
There’s also an array of breakfast breads and muffins and omelet and crepe
stations to personalize your breakfast favorites. The sweetest ending is their
dessert table - an extravagant presentation of over 100 gourmet desserts
covering everything from a chocolate fondue fountain to French macaroons.
Last weekend, I was treated to this elaborate brunch
feast with Caitlin of Style Within Reach and The Glitter Guide after our spa treatments in Guerlain Spa on the 19th foor of the hotel for a fabulous break during this hectic New York Fashion Week.
The
friendly and attentive staff started us off with Mimosas, but you can also
choose from a glass of Champagne or a Bloody Mary. Once our cocktails and coffee arrived, we explored
the buffet – over and over again. From the fresh seafood at the raw bar to the
over-the-top dessert selection, we were in heaven. And not counting calories!
This special occasion brunch is $98 per adult, $65
per child (ages 5-12), plus taxes and gratuity, but is more than worth the
wallet splurge. Book Sunday Brunch at Waldorf Astoria for an upcoming celebration
with your loved ones xo
