Ristorante Aglio Now Open in Tribeca

Ristorante Aglio, an intimate Italian restaurant in Tribeca has officially opened with an authentic menu and renovated space, after a quiet opening in December of 2011.

The interior is cozy, featuring dark wood and iron fixtures with warm lighting for a romantic date-friendly ambiance. Feel relaxed and sexy when settling in to dine at Ristorante Aglio.

The exposed brick wall behind the bar sets the stage to start your night off right with one of their signature cocktails. The Basilico Fizz (premium garlic-infused vodka, dry vermouth, organic basil and olive juice) delivers a savory start to your dinner. Sylvia, The Monnalisa (Belvedere, ginger Skyy, Saint Germain, fresh organic mint, fresh cucumber, fresh ginger, ginger ale and agave) will take you on a love-at-first-sip tropical vacation.

The dishes feature fresh vegetables from the local Union Square Greenmarket, with a pan-Italian theme for all pastas and entrees.
Stand out starters include the Polpo e Patate alla Griglia (Grilled Octopus & Potato) a marinated and grilled Sicilian style tender octopus with potatoes & arugula in a light dressing. This must-order antipasti is one of NYC's best octopus dishes.
Carpaccio di Manzo (Beef Carpaccio with Truffle sauce) is a melt-in-your-mouth thinly sliced US KOBE Beef topped with truffles & truffle vinaigrette for a flavorful, yet not overwhelming taste.
The health conscious looking for a satisfying and enjoyable dinner can rejoice with the daily Pesce del Giorno alla Griglia (Healthy Grilled Fish of the Day), currently an arctic char served with mashed potato, lemon & extra virgin olive oil.
Traditional Italian pasta lovers will go for Linguine alle Vongole in Bianco (Linguine with White Clams) served with New Zealand Cockles, garlic, chili pepper, white wine.
For an indulgent side that makes vegatables a delicious sin, order the Fritto di Cavolfiore (Cheese Fried Cauliflower) for a crispy and creamy compliment to any Secondi dish.
Finish off your dinner in the sweetest sense with a twist on tradition in the form of the Pineapple Tiramisu or go with a chocolate lovers dream, Torta di Cioccolato (dark chocolate flourless cake with frest mint creme anglaise and lightly sweetened whipped cream).

Ristorante Aglio is managed by the same company behind the highly rated Greenwich Grill and Sushi Azabu (a Michelin Star recipient), both also located in Tribeca. Make your reservations now to enjoy a quiet dinner date or to relax with your girlfriends over good food with friendly, welcoming service.  Ristorante Aglio. 277 Church Street.
