JAPADOG Opening in East Village

Looks like AsiaDog is about to get some serious competition with the opening of JAPADOG on January 5 in NYC.  Starting this Thursday, St. Mark's will be the home to Vancouver's popular Asian fusion street dogs.  The menu is filled with a variety of not-so-ordinary "plain" dogs and overflowing toppings on the specialty dogs.

Terimayo is JAPADOG's signature hot dog with teriyaki sauce, mayo and seaweed.

Are you more of a noodle lover?  Order the Yakisoba, staring the Arabiki (a sausage made from coarse ground pork) topped with the ever-popular soba noodles.
If you prefer turkey, there's the Kurogoma Kimuchi (turkey sausage with mild kimchi and topped with black sesame).
Want to stick to your New Year's Resolution diet?  Check out the Yasai, their "healthy hot dog" (veggie sausage topped with vegetables and sour sauce).

A variety of fries are offered from Curry Fries, delivering a non-traditional kick, to Butter and Shoyu, their most popular flavor.  Read the full menu to check out the long list of dogs and fries before heading to their first NYC storefront this week!  JAPADOG.  30 St. Mark's.
