East Village Eats: Culture Nosh at Whole Foods

The East Village is one of New York City's top culinary and foodie destinations, and Fourth Arts Block is providing delicious proof with their East Village Eats: Culture Nosh benefit class, spotlighting 3 neighborhood favorites: Veselka, Mama’s Food Shop, and Hecho en Dumbo

Stop by the Bowery Whole Foods Culinary Center on Thursday, January 26 from 7-9pm to taste and learn about Ukrainian home-cooking, classic American comfort food, and Mexican antojitos, while celebrating the fun, popular and vibrant East Village!

Tickets are being sold now for only $45. All proceeds from Culture Nosh will go to the Fourth Arts Block, a nonprofit organization that supports various arts and community groups throughout the East 4th Street Cultural District.

Check out the mouth-watering menu: Homemade Pirogis; Potato Latkes (Veselka). Tostada Gaonera with Seafood Ceviche and Spicy Lime-Clamato Juice; Tacos de Moronga with Mexican Blood Sausage on a Handmade Corn Tortilla Topped with Fresh Salsa (Hecho en Dumbo). Bacon-Wrapped Meatloaf; Fennel, Celery, and Apple Salad with Lemon, Cilantro, and House-Made Chili Flakes (Mama’s Food Shop).
