Play Ball!

Can you meet a date at a sporting event?  Most guys are concentrating on the play by play of the game, not your beautiful eyes.  I’m usually concentrating on my hot dog and beer, but I do look up from time to time to scope out the hotties (usually with my mouth full of French fries.  I’m so darn classy).   Even though stadiums are loud and hectic, I do think they lead to a social environment between friends and the groups of friends around them.  Smile at that cutie standing next to your clique or start a conversation about your favorite player with the group of guys in the next row.   Just being friendly and outgoing in this male dominated environment shows your confidence, which guys are always attracted to.   Even if you are not a sports buff, just your interest in being at the game and enjoying yourself will draw guys in.  Men can’t help but like a girl who is confident and happy.

Have you met a potential boyfriend at a game? xo

  1. Ok So I kinda have a theory about women and sports. Of course it is totally great for women to be involved sports fans and into the game but the lines get kind of screwy when it comes to sports and love. If you are head over heels involved in the game of course a man is going to take interest in you because he can have fun with you and relate to you. The problem is that he then starts to associate you with the infamous "home girl". A home girl is the one he wants to hang out with, drink a beer with, yell and chant with but she is NOT the one he wants to spend the rest of his life with or even sit through a play with. It's a very fine line between a "girl friend" and a "homegirl" A game is probably 8 times out of 10 the place you won't meet the love of your life.

  2. I love this line, Sarah. It's so true, no matter what the venue:

"Men can’t help but like a girl who is confident and happy."

  3. Sheree, you gotta think positive, girl! You just never know!!

  4. Drew Barrymore looks so cute in these photos!! Your blog is fun because it makes you feel like you know an insider's view of NYC. Love how you know SO MUCH about everything NY!! Almost makes us feel as if we're there! Have you lived in NY your whole life?

I think it's soooo true that self-confidence and happiness are addictive and draw people to you. Hope you have a wonderful week, sweetie!!! xoxoxo

  5. Thanks for the comment, Sandy! You are too cute! I moved to NYC for college and have stayed since. I'm so glad you're enjoying my posts xoxo
